Pu'er Tea Preparation

Pu'er Tea from Eternal Spring
is provided in a jute bag for storage.
To prepare a perfect cup of Pu'er tea, fill the kettle with freshly drawn water and bring to the boil.
Meanwhile, gently break off a small piece of Pu'er tea. (Enough to fit on a teaspoon) and place in a large infuser or teapot.
Pour boiling water over the leaves and leave for 30 - 40 seconds to rinse the leaves, and then pour off the 1st infusion.
Pour more boiling water onto the already activated leaves and steep for 1 - 3 minutes.
Experiment with different brewing times to suit your taste and the type of Pu'er tea.
Drink the 2nd infusion.
Each teaspoon of tea should last 3 - 4 infusions that can be drunk throughout the day
The tea is best sipped from a china or glass cup.
Pu'er Tea Storage
Keep your Pu'er tea cake in the jute bag provided or simply keep open in a wicker basket.
It is the oxygen that enhances its flavour and value. Store the tea in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and strong cooking smells.
