Pu'er Tea Quality and Value

Unlike all other teas, Pu'er has no sell-by-date. If kept in the right, oxygen-rich environment it ages magnificently but never dies.

So, as with a fine wine or whisky, the value of your Pu'er Tea cake will appreciate. And the more unusual the batch, such as Eternal Spring's Emperor Tea, the greater your asset.

The Yunnan Province in China has over 3,000 enterprises producing Pu'er tea, but only 59 have the QS mark (Quality and Safety) certificates as issued by the Chinese Government.

Look out for the QS mark on Eternal Spring's Pu'er tea 'cakes'.

There is also some very good loose Pu'er tea. However, do not be fooled by some blended Pu'er tea bags - the dust and crumbs in some of these tea bags bear little or no resemblance to authentic Pu'er tea.

Some websites are selling 25 tea bags for £14.95. That works out at 59p a cup!

Because the whole leaves from a Pu'er tea cake can be used 3 - 4 times, a good cup of Pu'er tea can cost as little as 1p a cup.

Eternal Spring's Pu'er tea is very cost effective for maximum taste and health benefits.
